Definitely apologies to start with in this post – hate being negative, but sometimes it goes like this.
Korisliiga playoffs – went to KarhuBasket vs Seagulls semifinal last night at the IKH Areena in Kauhajoki.. and unfortunately I was not being entertained.
As a photographer I look at games with the different view than your average fan, but I was really hoping got lots of emotions, celebrations from at least one or both of the teams. But this time – it just did not happen for me on the baseline.
We had dunks and big three pointers – but still, not much of a celebration from the players (ok – there were some, but very few and rather restrained).
And I really would love to enjoy each game – but in reality I know it is not unlikely happed đ
On positive side – this series will go a bit longer than just four games…
The game also never reached the heights of two teams battling in the top four of the league – few weeks ago the games in the Divisioona semis and Final were much of intensive and camera friendly.. for camera guys it seems that players in the Divisioona are allowed to express their emotions a little more than in Korisliiga… and facts might support this.
Luckily this was only a single game and lets hope than tomorrow Game 3 will return some energy and UMPH! to the game… and make me change my description of the season from BLAH to something more media sexy.
